1. Your Role as a Seller

- ThriftBite does not handle food or verify inventory.
2. Seller Obligations
- You must accurately describe food items (e.g., “day-old bread,” “expires today”).
- You must comply with all food safety regulations applicable to your jurisdiction.
- You must maintain valid food handling permits and ensure all food sold meets health and safety requirements.
3. Payment and Fees
- ThriftBite takes a commission from each completed sale, deducted at the time of payout.
- Payouts are processed via Stripe or PayPal and are subject to standard processing
4. Indemnification & Legal Responsibility
- Sellers are fully responsible for the safety, quality, and accuracy of food listings.
- Sellers agree to indemnify and hold ThriftBite harmless from any claims, lawsuits, or

- If a legal dispute arises from a transaction, the seller assumes full financial and legal responsibility.
5. Insurance
- Sellers are required to carry liability insurance and may be required to add ThriftBite as an additional insured party upon request.
6. Customer Disputes and Refunds
- Sellers are expected to handle all customer complaints and process refunds at their discretion.
- If a customer files a dispute, ThriftBite may mediate but will not issue refunds on behalf of.
7. Platform Rights and Account Termination
ThriftBite reserves the right to remove listings, suspend accounts, or terminate partnerships for:

Dispute Resolution

Limitation of Liability
